Anyone know if he was there yesterday? I know he's not a massive football fan but what he's done for our club is fantastic.

Yes, he was there with his 2 grand sons. They were on the bus too!

The whole event cannot have failed to have an impact on him. No-one could have stood there and not seen & felt the emotion. Maybe we will convert him to the faith yet.

I dont think he was much of a footy fan when he bought into the club but I think his attitude has changed a lot since then.

yeah,he's always been totally honest about his lack of knowledge about football-nothing worse than chairman/owners out on the pitch pretending they are die hard fans

It was noticeable at the AGM in September that STF seemed to be much more passionate about the future prospects of the team and the club in general. The fact that he was actually at the AGM in itself was a surprise, since he hadn't attended one for about 9 years beforehand. He has several close friends and relations who are passionate Hibs fans, so he knows how much the prosperity of the club means to so many people.

Being at Hampden on Sunday must have made him even more keen I would have thought. Good news all round if that is the case.

I had a chance to have a quick chat with him and shake his hand at ER before the bus left..what a gent. I noticed him buy a wee girl a Hibs Teddy in the shop as well - her Mum was going to pay and Tom stepped in and paid himself..one of the good guys.
