Did you see my previous post Ian. The guys name is Peter and he drinks in the Bailie in Stockbridge. Was talking to him yesterday and he is sore as fuk from whiplash (I assume its the same guy - had his daughter in the car with him) but otherwise OK.

He asked me to thank you (assuming it was you) for the bottle of water and the chat.

special mention to my friend and mad hibee Robert Hogg who got that guy out of his burst car before anything else could slam into the back.

Definately the same dude mate. I am assuming rightly or wrongly you were on crutches, he was grateful and he did mention that people were more or less ripping him out the car. He almost went into shock and couldnt feel his hands for a bit, thought he was having a heart attack. He really appreciated your being there to help. I will mention yout mate as well to him

I referred to him as a 'clown' in the earlier post but there was nothing he could do i suppose, if he hadn't slowed down a bit me and all my passengers would be dead. Glad they're ok

I spoke to him about it obviously as everyone else did, he was thanking his lucky stars that the flow of traffic kept the speed down a bit. He tried to look for a way out whilst braking. He feels bad about hitting another car but wtf are you meant to do, you brake and hope like fuk everything is going to be ok. Glad hes ok, glad your ok and all the other hibees are ok. Shame it was a Yam that rear ended you though
