Your Player of the Year?

Early days yet, I know - a lot can happen between now and end of season to turn heroes into zeroes or vice versa but who are your personal front runners for POTY so far?

Mine are Whittaker and Murphy for consistency and 100% effort.

P.S: I also think Chris Killen deserves a mention. Despite his absence for much of the season, he has scored more goals than many people expected and has been a major contributor to our success.

Whittaker is my choice. However whoever were to bring the SC home with the winning goal would win it automatically.

Definately thought he should have been captain, one of our most consistent players.

For me it would have been Stewart until his recent dip so I will go for Whittaker.

hard to choose anyone but Murphy, he's been our most dependable and consistent player. I think Benji deserves mention also, with limited first team opportunities he's done really well.

Re: Your Player of the Year?

Whitty for me just shading it over Murphy .... cos for me Whitty's been great all season, whereas Murphy was a little indifferent to start with ... although he's been a stand out since the turn of the year.

Stewart was up there too, until his virus or whatever ... although that goal against Aberdeen will be one of the highlights of the season, no matter what happens in the cups ......

oh and honourable mention for Benji who's improving week on week and definitely most improved player this season, although I always had faith he'd come good....

Re: Your Player of the Year?

I think Murphy has been superb all season.

Earlier on in the season Stewart was well ahead of anyone and Killen was on fire..

I think there's a good few headlines yet to be written this season by Benji and Zemmama!!

I'd like to have been able to say Killen or Stewart as the team just doesnt perform as well without them, but given both have been out for a fair chunk of the season, I'll go for the best left back in Scotland.

Murphy by a mile, followed by Stewart with young player being Lewis Stevenson.

Murphy easy. Whittaker costs us goals when he charges to the half way line then stops and loses the ball then the opposition go right down his side.

Murphy, although Whittaker is not too far behind. Stewart, Killen and Zemmama were all playing superb before the injuries, and deserve a mention. Jones deserves a shout too.

Benji most improved player, Stevenson young player.
