Guys...I work for Network Rail in Glasgow and what I know is meetings take place this afternoon. I'll try and find out what I can about proposals to cover services once we know whats going on. Some services will run depending on priorities and imagine some trains will run through. However it's the trains back that might be an issue. Once I hear I'll post stuff.

Its pretty typical that when theres a big even on the trains have to go on strike its a joke....alot of folk cant get busses etc cause there full so will be relying on the trains but ofc as usual public transport maybe useless once again.

That's why they go on strike!

Forgive the pedantry but mind it's not the trains that are on strike. The trains are raring to go if someone can give them a signal.

Unfortunately not,as it's two 48 hour strikes the time the strike starts on the Friday will determine the time it finishes on Sunday.
