Creative lacking?

I know we have not seen the best of Deano since Hearts at Tynie but he tore a muscle early on against the dons in cup replay. When he was fit before xmas we were scoring and flowing, i feel we need him badly for the cups as we certainly dont look like scoring without him. His goals to games ratio is common knowledge, but no one seems to be aware of his assists, which must be in at least double figures. His movement off the ball and his runs are attack intelligent. He keeps possession in the last third and i must say we do not have a player of this kind when we attack. Any body know how far he is off from playing?

Three weeks. Plus he isn't really that vital, not a consistent starter since autumn.

Not that vital ? how can you say that, scores goals,creates goals, is one of our top performers when he is free from injury, the team needs the likes of him and Scotty in the same team otherwise we can forget about silverware this season, which we would all agree is VERY VITAL.

but he hasnt been a regular starter for most of this season mowbray and collins mayby dont think he is vital? i think zemmama will give us some creativitiy! but i agree about shiels goals etc

Led to believe that Collins does fancy him, as he has shown when Shiels was free from injury, Zemmama gives the ball away too much, you simply cant have an attack with Sproule,Benji and Zemmama all who are careless with possession. They would probably have been ideal for Bobby Williamsons teams where the pattern was long and direct but not if you want to formulate some kind of attacking pattern. Shiels in front of Brown Boozy Stewart and Sproule and floating behind a single striker like Benji would result in buckets of opportunities. Not wide left where he is like a fish out of water.

fair enough i suppose in recent games he has been playing in it has been out of position

Even apart from that you need players challenging for every position on the pitch in order to push those in possesion of the jersey to continuously improve. Otherwise whits the point?
