We know that Zibi and Brown have little between them when it comes to bouts of madness.

Listening to JC in the car coming home it seems that McNeill will be back between the posts next week.

Thank the lord. never want to lose to the stickies but imagine if Brown had made these howlers in the final against Killie.

It would be yet another thank you and good night.

After today, the decision is made, McNeill plays.

Brown can join Zibi somewhere else but please knowhere near the Easter Road first team.

Agree with that. But having seen Mourinho on tv last night saying Cech gained Chelsea "between 10 and 15 points a season" and you think of what Malkowski and Brown have cost us...it's hard to take. Today's quivering shambolic performance by Simon Brown even brought back memories of Ollie and his howlers. And I thought I had successfully wiped him from my memory bank. When the club has had great goalkeepers like Goram, Leighton and Rough....it's tough coming home from Easter Road after two shots and two goals. You could tell Brown was quaking before the second goal. His body language was appalling. You could see it from the West Upper. It must have been so obvious down on the pitch. But, rant over, you're right. Better now than at Hampden. But it gives me a slight concern about the fact that JC picked Simon Brown today instead of AM. Shome mishtake surely?

Look at Chelsea and Man Utd last night. The back door is locked thanks to great goalkeeping. As you say we have been blessed with some great keepers at Easter Road which does take the current predicament with two not one joker hard to take. In recent times Andersson has been the best keeper we have had IMO.

I was just about to post a similar thread. It's one positive (kind of) to take from yesterday's game- thank fuck Simon Brown never saved those howlers for the final. We can at least sleep safe in the knowledge that neither Zibi nor Brown wil be between the sticks in 2 weeks time. Yesterday was hard to take but for it to happen in the final would've been unthinkable.
