Re: why did fletcher swap shirts

seems strange swapping tops at a league game. Maybe Fletcher felt it would be worth money in future years. The first scum top worn by KT at ER

Maybe he needs it for a charity do. seems all strange. Course maybe he just needed a rag to clean his boots

Tommo maybe told him he needed a Hibs top for the final and his mate Broonaldo was not giving him his.

Re: why did fletcher swap shirts

Looked like Hogg got Egiogs strip as well.. noticed Egiog wasnae wearing a top at the end just after Thomson and Fletch switched tops. Hogg had shoved it under his shirt and a blue sleeve could be seen hanging out the bottom of the lovely green and white he was wearing... Anyone else see this?

I saw that as well. Personally i think it was Thomson trying to offer a olive branch to us Hibs fans, but it was a empty gesture and one that Hibs fans will not fall for or accept.

Don't think it was spur of the moment eitheir, i get the feeling that he has been in touch with certain Hibs players to get this set-up.

I noticed Ehiogu had given his top away, but didn't see who to. I did see young Stevenson asking Ferguson for his and Fud-u-(don't)like telling him he would swap him up the tunnel (ooh err).

I'm surprised Rangers don't take them back to Ibrox, wash them and re-use them......

Re: why did fletcher swap shirts

Fletcher could have defused this situation by doing any shirt-swapping in the tunnel out of the public eye. Seems to me he's been a bit naive.

There appears to be 3/4 names linked with requesting shirts of Hun players..

If this is correct then i find this utterly depressing. It sends out the wrong message to us fans but also more importantly the Hun players..

Sad.

Presumably as Hogg is a Mboro lad and ehwhohe was a Mboro leg-end. Otherwise Hogg should have kept Boyd as he had him in his back pocket all afternoon.

Then he should have asked him for an autograph

For any Hibs player to want to own a rangers top, especially after having just played them and seen how they kick, cheat and moan (chris burke is worse than hartley), how they do get favoured by referees and the way they rape scottish football is utterly mind boggling.

Thats because Stevenson is a die hard Rangers fan, 110% true, not dissing Lewis great player but still supporting Rangers is not good.

Re: why did fletcher swap shirts

Personally, I dont really have a problem with this, but maybe better done away from the field of play.

We can't really expect to have a team of 11 died-in-the-wool Hibbies. In fact, given the behaviour of a couple recently, we're probably better off if they're not!

All you ask is that whoever is out there gives their best for their employer. Not asking too much is it?

Took words right out of my mouth. All though the older fans know it is a sign of respect for younger Hibees seeing your idol pull on a smelly top like Rangers doesnt inspire you much to be honest.
