I'm presuming with a tour to another continent, and a friendly with Barcelona between July 23 and 28, we'll not be participating in the InterToto Cup if we fail to get into Europe through the Scottish Cup?

Collins has already ruled out participation in the Intertoto.

Would love the Casablanca game to be on Saturday 24 June - I'm in Marrakesh that weekend and would find some way to get up to Casablanca I'm sure!

I TOTALLY FAIL TO UNDERSTAND the logic of ruling ourselves OUT of the InterToto. Look at Odense - the side that only put us out on away goals - they got to the UEFA Cup Group Stage, and missed out on qualification on goal difference. They will have made millions, once sponsorship and TV money taken into account. Furthermore, the competition provided large attendances (more than friendlies against lower league English sides would have), and I think they put us in a situation where we came into the SPL season all guns blazing, having been primed by competitive matches v foreign opposition. And it's a trophy to add our name too.

I think we also have a duty to Scotland here. The old format InterToto with 5 rounds and 3 'winners' was snubbed by few nations, last year only Portugal failed to provide an entrant. If we fail to qualify for the UEFA Cup (i.e. Dunfermline or St Johnstone do) then it will be Hearts-Hibs-Killie-Falkirk-Inverness capable of applying. I don't see why we should consign Scotland's hopes (Falkirk and ICT would do nothing, Killie next so nothing) and we should instead by proud to represent Scotland in the third major footballing competition in Europe. Is Collins seriously saying he would pass the chance down the league and go tour Ireland instead?

I presume if we are going to go all the way to Morocco to play them we would arrange at least one further match, in which case I would go for Wydad Casablanca (who play at the same stadium as Raja, and are the other 'big' club in Morocco) and:

althought alcohol and all kind of wines is not allowed for muslims . it s not banned here and everyone may take it, dont forget that millions of tourists come here every year. everyone is responsible for himself in that case. but i can say that almost 85% of moroccans do not drink.

we are the second wine makers in africa behind south africa.. morocco is a liberal minded & tolerance country for moroccan as long as they drink in private its case
