I estimate we need 20 points from last 10 games to finish third in SPL: 4 points off 2 games v Rangers (H+A) 3 points off 1 game v Falkirk (H) 3 points off 2 games v Hearts (H+A) 3 points off 1 game v St Mirren (A) 3 points off 1 game v Dunfermline (H) 3 points off 1 game v Aberdeen (H) 0 points off 1 game v Celtic (H) 1 point off 1 game v Kilmarnock (H) because through the season so far we get 1.42 points per game, which = 14.2 points, add in 5 points defecit, round up, = 20 points. So I would expect 65 points to finish third. That said, statistics predit 63.3 points will be required to finish third in league in a 38 point season. |
