I'm never one to count ma chickens, but this has got to be our best chance for a while. If we win the Scottish cup, even on it's own, every single player on the day and particularly JC will become instant Hibs legends over night. Dare I say in years o come, more so than the FF.

Don't want to sound a killjoy, but IMO it's highly unlikely that Hibs will win both trophies. I would settle for the CIS Cup to be honest, it's still our best chance out of the two. The Scottish Cup Final is on May 26th, nearly three months away. As long as Celtic remain in this tournament our chance of winning the SC is slim. Very rarely do they lose a Cup Final at Hampden,whilst our record there is appalling. We still have to beat Dunfermline which will not be a pushover.

We have to win on March 18th. We are playing a team we are well cabable of beating in a one off game and we really have to go for it.

i really believe (bit ironic) that i we can win the CIS but beating celtic in the final will be an almighty task IMO.
I dont see Collins letting these plays lose this CIS final. I just think he has got the right atitude embedded in the players

I'd settle for the Scottish Cup win.

But it's all down to whether we win the CIS or not, win that and the team goes for the Scottish Cup brimming with confidence.Nothing succeeds like success.

Even when we play badly at present we are still a good team. There's no doubt we can win both trophies this season, we just need to have that self-belief and go out there and play like we can do for 180 minutes. When we do that even Celtic find it hard to cope with us. I am sure John Collins will be masterminding these games already.

To win the double Hibs have to beat Kilmarnock, Dunfermline and Celtic with a squad that is 1/2 injuries and 1/2 suspensions away from being painfully thin and the glaring goalkeeping weakness, central defending problem and the lack of a genuine holding midfielder is just as appparent now as it has been for around 3 years.

I do think Hibs however have the flair, desire, hunger and ability to win two of these games but to win all three and win two trophy's would without doubt be the 'greatest ever modern achivement by any Hibs team'.
