Just wondering what everyone thinks our best partnership actually is as Collins has swapped about recently..

Martis and Jones.

Hogg gave away the goal yesterday with a poor clearing header that went straight to the Queens player. It seems Hogg makes too many mistakes. Martis is a better defender than him imho. If only we had two rob jones though.

Hogg playes more of a sweeper
Jones is good in the air. rather than having 2 simaler players who will go for evrything

yes i would say hogg gave away the goal yesterday but always martis can make mistakes too! I mean own goals but i woudl still say him and jones are a good relationship

I said Jones & Hogg, however where was the Poll for Jones & NEW defender.

then I'd also have to have put Hogg & New defender and Martis & New Defender, anyway, New Defender isn't available for selection at the moment.

hogg headed the ball out of the area into the wings where any pro will be told to header it as its les dangerous it just happened to be right place right time for the boy crossing it. whys no one mentioning that murphy never bothered to pick up the guy who scored the free header?

I agree. Hogg and Jones for me. Jones and Martis are just too similar

Its a close one, all our defenders can be liabilities at times.

For me Hogg puts in heavy but clean tackles, Martis stands off players more and makes them work. Depends on what team we are up against, but overall going for Jones and Hogg by a whisker til Martis picks up some composure on the ball.
