Sproule quoted in the Daily Record (i know I should know better than to quote that rag) "I love Scotland and playing for Hibs but if things keep going like this, (re the treatment he is receiving from refs) I can't see myself staying here much longer"

I think that it is a disgrace that he has been forced into this statement, but can totally understand his frustration at some of the bookings/ sending offs he has received. Sure he sometimes loses the rag a little, but the sending off on Saturday was a disgrace, and the second booking at Ibrox was very similar to an offence committed (sp?) by a Rangers player which went unpunished.

Does anyone else feel that he is being unfairly treated due to his reputation as a hot head? I also feel this is the case with Scott Brown, as pointed out by JC after the Gretna game.

Not wanting to sound like a celtic fan with the paranoia but a level playing field would be nice

You are absolutely spot on. The inconsistency ,particularly in the SPL, by referees is crippling and our players seem to suffer more than most . Since the Falkirk game at Easter Road earlier this season Hibs never seem to get "the rub of the green" with refereeing decisions.But, to be honest, this has gone on for years and probably will continue to do so . I just hope Ivan has said this in the heat of the moment and once he gets over the injustice of the situation he'll go on and help the club to pick up 2 trophies this season.

You are absolutely spot on. The inconsistency ,particularly in the SPL, by referees is crippling and our players seem to suffer more than most . Since the Falkirk game at Easter Road earlier this season Hibs never seem to get "the rub of the green" with refereeing decisions.But, to be honest, this has gone on for years and probably will continue to do so . I just hope Ivan has said this in the heat of the moment and once he gets over the injustice of the situation he'll go on and help the club to pick up 2 trophies this season.

To be honest I'm sick of the club being treated like a piece of shit by everyone except our fans. How I will rub it in if we win the CIS Cup.
