Only Celtic have scored more goals away from home
Only Dunfermline have lost more games away from home

It is our away form which has scuppered any chance of us challenging for a Champions league spot this season. Despite the fact only Celtic have scored more away from home, we have simply lost too many games away from Easter Road. We do not defend well enough in away games, and we are not ruthless enough in front of goal. We have had four excellent away wins at Dundee United, Motherwell, Dunfermline, and KIlmarnock, but overall our away form has been very poor. Losses at places like St Mirren, Falkirk, and Inverness have been very costly.

This is in sharp contrast to our home form. Only Falkirk have won at Easter Road this season in every competition. This is top 2 form at home. I cannot remember a season where Hibs have only lost once at Easter Road by mid-February.

It's our away results which have let us down very badly this season, and hopefully JC can rectify this during the summer.
