I was there that day.

Up until now I had successfully blanked that from my memory.

Thanks.

We were cruising until Joe's input. Was it a Pat McG double that day?

We were there .(not often we played so well at the Hunnery in those days) You even managed to see the whole game ! Mind of goin mental when McGinlay scored the second .Watched the goals from that game on Hibs interactive last week. Mickey Weir scored the first .
Mitchell got crocked and Joe T put in one of his "special" nightmare performances.

(Still like Joe T though) and we lost 4-2

Re: Season ticket numbers next season

On the season ticket theme - we currently have 10-11k season tickets (probably about 10,600-10,700) plus maybe the high hundreds of half season tickets for Cat B matches only, and I would predict a further increase towards 11k-11.5k next season at least. However, if it reaches 12k full season tickets then we have real difficulties because when Rangers/Celtic/Hearts come to play us they get the whole end, which is about 4.2k, so that combined with 12k is over 16k, which would leave less than 1,000 tickets available for general sale at any given time.

Re: Season ticket numbers next season

After letting my ST lapse in the last Blobby season, i will be re-newing next season.

Up till that point i had held my ST for 15 years, 13 on the east terracing(when it was terracing Mandy!) and two in the west lower.

I am extremely encouraged by the possible future at ER, whether we win silverware or not!

I think his moments on TV tonight said it all Paddy, Miller was a dour faced, negative Hun bassa, and managed to remind us so tonight.
He really only has Ivanauskas for competition in the miserable managers stakes.

Have you read what Roughie says about him in his autobiography- quite revealing.

Spoke to an ex Hibs player from that era who said that AM was an excellent trainer, very good at training ground activities, BUT an awful man-manager and very poor at changing games that did not go to plan. I asked the same player if Murdo Macleod was the real brains behind the resurgence in 1991/2 but he categorically stated that MM's tactical knowledge was limited to say the least.
