Dilema!!
Ok guys, what do i do?
Currently travelling australia on a 12 month working visa - expires in November. Do i pay 900 quid for a flight back home for a week for the cup final or not? If i do, itl be pricey, what if we loose? The bus trip back from hampden is bad enuf - never mind a 25 hour flight!! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. It is a tough one mate.
I was in New Zealand at the time of our 2004 cup run. Had only been away a week or so when we beat rangers in the semi. Thought long and hard about coming home for the final against Livi and decided against it due to the cost. Thank fcuk i never made the trip back. I'd say if you're well off then come back for it, otherwise there are a good few oz-hibs supporters clubs who you could watch the game with..... although i know it's not the same as bein there in the flesh.

Well, 925 quid for a flight and ticket is a pretty expensive match - for anybody!
Some good Hibs pubs (especially in Sydney) but nowt would compare with the euphoria of being there. Or the gutless feeling of losing!! Ach. Im playing the lottery!

feel the same tam4hibs.
if we (dare I say it) were to lose to Gretna then the CIS becomes even more huge. I can't help feel waiting for the Holy Grail is the way to go but realistically how often do we have a chance to win silverware..... It's a toughie, certainly. |
