The Hibernian Ticket Office still has just short of 1,000 tickets remaining for the Hibernian areas...

Why were the ticket office telling people yesterday that they were sold out then?

Proof that ticket office staff give out misinformation or supporters tell lies?

If there is a thousand tickets left, how was the only part of the ground available last Thursday the very last section at the south of their old main stand?

Unless we have got more tickets from the SFL this is looking like a fecking shambles. Again.

The Saints have seemingly sold 2,500 tickets. It could be that they have sent back the other 1,000.

You may be onto something there, is it also possible that sponsors/corporate guests have given up tickets (doubtful i knwo)?

The ticket office are a disgrace.

On the 11th of this month i bought 4 adult tickets for the Old Main Upper.

I was told that that was all that was left apart from a few in the Wheatfield Stand section A.

Has anyone considered the fact that maybe St Johnstone have sent some of their allocation back?

Re: Ticket Information Update

I reckon the ticket office have a policy of always making it sound like they are almost sold out in the hope that people will hear this and rush along to get tickets. They don't seem to realise that whilst this policy might get people along on the first day they go on sale it actually puts people off later as they just presume it is sold out or that they'll only get crap seats.

Re: Ticket Information Update

Was in this morning getting tickets for the Celtic game and the "system" was down so everyone was writing details down on paper. The woman said "system is down AGAIN" which suggests its no exactly the most reliable system going. Must make it very hard to keep track of ticket sales plus it must cost Hibs as everybody wanting tickets for games at Easter Road (eg Gretna) was gonna have to get their tickets posted to them cos they couldn't print off the tickets as system was down.

I think it was only Gretna tickets that they couldn't get today as its Hibs that print them in the ticket office - tommorrow's tickets will have been printed by SFL or whoever was responsible (Hertz?). I was given my tickets for the Celtic game as Celtic must print them.

Shouldn't club statements also have some PR involved like "Due to selling out the rest of the ground, the SFL have released an extra 1000 tickets in the Roseburn stand for those who have not yet managed to get their hands on one. The club ticket office will be until the last possible moment at 5:00pm tomorrow to try and give everyone as much of a chance as possible to be there"?

When you look at the numerous "near sell-outs" which have turned out to be far from it, you have to wonder what exactly they are playing at tbh and that makes as much sense as any other theory. Just tell the fecking truth about how many tickets are left for games!

Jeez that sounds as almost as bad the system SFA have for allocating Scotland tickets.

Oh maybe not actualy sorry for insulting your club

Those tickets cant have come from us from what ive heard we have sold over 3000 and i think the roseburn stand holds around 3500 goodness knows where they came from.

Re: Ticket Information Update

I had fun with our ticket office last week. Wanted 4 Hibs kids, 2 S/T exchanges and 2 adults sitting together in South stand. Bloke on phone (Aussie I think), hasn't a scooby but takes number and a few minutes later calls back, takes card details, sorted.

Except I go to pick up tickets and there's no sign of the 2 adults, lassie checks computer, no sign of any payment. She has a click about for a few minutes, goes off for a chat with someone , comes back to tell me she hasn't got 8 seats together so she'll need to put us in the FF executive bit. Fine says I.

So I'm sitting in my comfy seat
