think imo its more to do with willie McCock trying to punt them as a double act for highest return. IF broonaldo left on his own, who is going to look at thommo's last few months and want to pay big bucks.
broony hasnt been at his best but he does put a bit of effort in, thommo sat back and couldnt give a flying feck.
might be poster elsewhere, im just in from the battlecruise but i was under the impression the hibs have stopped katies wee bit in the daily retard??
why do they still have have a huge poster of him smiling advertising the rag that prints lies day in day out??????

Re: thomson

I am sick to death of people using the smallest things to jump onto the 'we hate thomson' bandwagon. Many complaints come after performances like these. Thomson is a player who breaks down oppsosition attacks and start our own attacks and to be honest he might not be firing on all cylanders but he does the job to satisfaction

sorry, but he doesnt nearly do the job to my satisfaction.

on todays performance he shouldnt start on wednesday, he sat back, wasnt willing to attack, wasnt hungry, wasnt interested.

neither him or broony have been playing to their full potential, but broony does put a bit of effort in, he does a job to my satisfaction.

exactly! thomson looks totally uninterested and if anyone says other wise i think they are kidding themselves! thomson slowed down our attacks by going backwards half the time ! at least brown puts in a little bit of effort albeit he isnt playing the best he could but alot better than thomson at this moment

Re: thomson

Can't agree.

Thommo is rueing the day he got in tow with Jackshun and McCock. I'm sure he will do his best in a Hibs jersey.

He is entitled to a bad game.

His performance against the Sheep was quite excellent I thought.

Re: thomson

I could sit here and be critical of quite a few players today IMO, but I'll take the three points and look forward to Wednesday.
Motherwell came here with one up front and tried to stop us playing, and IMO I think that the condition of the pitch doesn't help too much.

I agree.
Not his best game, but I think he is an easy target now.

But that's his own fault.

surely both players would do better coming as induviduals than a package hibs would probably get more for brown alone, brown is a better all round player than thomson

Not as far as the tic supporters think, they see him as a direct replacement for Lemmon.
I agree, can't understand why most buyers/papers have them as a double act, maybe it's but one get one free.

Agreed he had an excellent game against Aberdeen but I thought he shirked a good number of tackles yesterday whereas, before the sad plight of the Twins became public, he would have stuck a leg in.

Only one of the midfield who wasn't continually overplaying it when we had possesion, and he worked hard.

I didn't analyse them that closely but I felt strongly that he was bottling out of challenges where previously he would have dug in.
