Question Simon Brown

Can somebody point out the mistakes Simon Brown has made to be so hated by fans?
Hes a good keeper with much more talent than Malkowski.Hope to see him in goals on staurday.

Re: Simon Brown

Dont know that he is hated. He is a decent shot stopper and better than Zibi but not by an awful lot. His save in the cup tie at Ibrox showed how good he could be but remember he lost a goal at the PBS as bad as anything Zibi ever lost.

Dont now why fans hate him. Afterall he's made 1 mistake against Hearts and been sent off against Celtic. Zibi's done much worse than that.

One, not a few. The worst thing to happen in retrospect was Brown got redcarded (v Celtic ? ), the galloping pole came on and saved a penalty. Such is fate.....

Both Simon Brown and Zibi have had so many chances with Hibs, Petrie is having to by another Monopoly board.

His lack of experiance could end up being a big mistake..Last game before jan window I think? Brown much better than zibi who i cant think of 1 skill he holds.Cant kick a ball straight and cant hold the bludy thing!

Re: Simon Brown

Does anyone remember the incident where he (Simon Brown) rolled the ball out in front of himself during a derby and Lee Miller came from behind him and almost scored? That didnt exactly inspire confidence in me about his ability

IMO "that" goal wasn't as bad as the likes of Zibi's fluff ups at Hampden and the boxing day disaster. Browns fvck up at tynie was a very bad judge of the whole feckin situation where as Zibi just showed his utter shiteness at handling a football.

Re: Simon Brown

Brown isnt playing for of field issues! if it was about football he would start. McNeil so far is doing well. Under 19 championship finals under his belt !!! Under 19's in Italy and in Spain are certainly worth more than any spl player, he should start.

Re: Simon Brown

Doesn't Simon Brown have a "clause" in his contract similiar to the one captain caveman had for the pub team ie if he plays he gets an "appearance" fee? Not a great fan of his by any means but I'd play him before the clown every single time. Goals the clown has cost us against the pub team IMHO as follows - 3 in the semi - Free kick near post from gay boy, ddin't come out for third when Wankauskas "raced" through and the last one he should also have been out instead Smith gets caught out for pace. 2-1 win at Easter Road - Roman "its just as well for deano I was on halfway line" Bednar gets up of his ass to score after Calamity 1 collides with Calamity 2. 2-2 game at Easter Road enough said and 1 more on Boxing Day. If only the pub team could play like the 81% game all the time and not get A SINGLE SHOT ON TARGET.

If the story is true about the off field incident Si Brown was involved in, then he should never play for the club again. I believe this is the case anyway and even with the arrival of JC the situation will not change. If Zibi is now out of the equation, then this leaves us VERY weak in terms of personel for th GK position. JC has to have a replacement for Zibi as his No.1 priority during the window.

Brown wasn't the best keeper in the world, but if you compare his mistakes to some of the one's Zibi has made, who's are worse? Brown hasn't made as many costly errors as Zibi has.

everyone makes mistakes son, zibi was incompetent, u cant say start a 19 year old ladie cause hes made no mistakes, saying that id be playing him as first choice, simon brown would be a disaster with martise and his back passing, hes the week link at the back. boozy is class by the way mate

Only cause he's played less!

They're both fecking pish. If you combined both players best attributes and combined them into one keeper he'd be rank as well. Both them have never commanded their box, both have conceded goals an under 18 keeper would have saved, and both make their defence so nervous they look like bad players when they're not.
