Agree about the price though, the longer the pair stay the more of a negative effect they are having on the team. We are going into a very busy time over the festive period and a win on Sat is going to be vital to stop us falling down that table.

I would be more than happy with this price as well. Brown as much as he is being a prick right now has a point about McFadden going for £1.7 million a few years back but given the rate of inflation £2 million is the going rate minimum for either player imo despite the £3 million quoted by the club. As a side issue i wonder what the breakdown of the offer from Charlton worked out at anyone think it would be split evenly or more than likely higher for Brown than Thomson? Right now i would happily see Hibs accept £2 million for either player or do they only come as a pair so their agent has half the work to do?
