Auction 6 - Framed Signed Print of Hibernian v Rot Weiss Essen Poster 1955 (Rare)

Number 6 in the auctions is a very rare framed and signed print of the match poster of Hibernian's away game against Rot Weiss Essen (RWE) of Germany, played on 14 September 1955.

This poster was prepared by RWE and is signed by both sets of players and referee who played in this match. What is unusual about it, is that on the night Lawrie Reilly was not asked to sign the original and told us so. 50 years later, he told us about it and proceeded to sign it! This is one of three prints Lawrie kindly signed to accompany the signatures of such Hibernian Greats as Gordon Smith, Eddie Turnbull, Willie Ormond, Bobby Combe and Tommy Younger.

Bidding is by adding to the thread or by pm to myself or Stevie Carr on the Bounce or Hibs.net. The auction will close Friday 22nd of December at 22.00. All goods will be hand delivered at the St Mirren game or posted after the Christmas holidays.

The print is in a 21 x 17 inch frame (53 x 43 cm)

Please only bid if you are genuinely interested in this item, its a cracker and will make a great Christmas present!
