I thought the referee had an interesting game yesterday. Although he lost it a bit in the second half (and called a few strange ones) I felt he tried to let the game flow and allowed tackling. I'd hate to think he got marked down for trying to let us see a proper game of football.

Agreed - overall a good game for the ref. Not many bookings and let the game flow as you said. Both sets of supporters (and Craig the Moaner) will feel aggrieved at a few poor decisions but it was better than some we've seen recently.

It was nearly a proper game of football yesterday with the ref allowing contact and actually trying to treat the players with a degree of respect. Noticed that he put in a few quiet words off the ball to both sides and tried to keep the game flowing, his use of the advantage rule was pretty good - no advantage playing a backwards pass.

The stats review in the Herald yesterday showed that he cautions just over 2 players per game on average so thought he was true to form yesterday. Wouldn't mind seeing him ref at ER again tbh

Yup, Conroy had a pretty decent game yesterday. Tried to let the game flow at times. Made the odd strange decision here and there but was no worse for either team. Got a bit annoying with the whole Stille-timewasting thing but on yesterday's performance one of the least-worse refs.

Stillies time wasting went against him, were the ref could have justifiably played 5 or 6 mins of time because they wasted the time he didn't add it on, had it been Hibs wasting time then I feel he would have

Not exactly my favourite referee in the world, hes a crap ref and they all are, the only reason he looked decent is because every other game we have had a shite ref this season.

don't agree with the he had a good game scenario, he allowed the united hammer throwers free rein with pushes shoves and tripping go unpunished till very late on also allowed a hell of a lot of dissent by them to go unpunished as well , this is the same ref who denied us a penalty a season ago saying that he knew it was a penalty but his hands were so cold he could not get the whistle up to his lips in time and the ball was cleared away and incidentally we lost that game by an odd goal , no Mr Conroy was nothing special on a par with the Richmonds of this world
