Who are we supporting?

Our crowds are up regularly at 14k (give or take some away fans) we are playing good football (most weeks) we are climbing the table and a real chance of a trophy. Now the guys who lapped up our adoration are sticking 2 fingers up at us. Only G.O'C. went with some dignity and we recieved a decent fee, though be good if he had stuck around longer. Anyway its leaving a bit of a lump in the throat supporting these players who really couldn'd give a monkeys about the club or us. I know we support the team and the supporters are the club in reality, its just getting to the point Im wondering if its worth cheering anyone on. I know most will leave if their good enough but for guys to start demanding more money a few months after re-signing is just pathetic. No one ever said they wont get a big money deal. The club stood by both and in particular Thompson through many months of injury, maybe they should realise that having picked up good money and having specialist fees paid for them while doing nothing for the club, its time for a little loyalty.

Footballers are beginning to make me sick. My son will go and fight in a boxing match for nothing and most pro boxers get so little they have to have a full time job. It does make me question whether I should be paying for them to get rich and kick us in the teeth. Maybe its time RP and TM started doing a bit more for the fans instead of these greedy sods. How about bringing the prices down a bit and giving supporters concessions in the restuarant etc.

Re: Who are we supporting?

We support Hibs, not individual players.

It's a team sport and we should continue to back every Hibs player who is playing on a match day for the team.

The Bosman ruling changed the whole shape of world football. We have to adapt and deal with it. Players will always want to move on to higher earnings and bigger clubs. How they do it is there own business, we should just get on with cheering on our wonderful football club.

Individual players careers will be over by the time they are in their mid-thirties.

Hibernian will go on forever.

Re: Who are we supporting?

at the moment, im embarised to talk about thomson and bron.. there agent is filling there heads with shit and they are making a complete arse of the club. if they only want to play if we give them wage rises then they shouldnt be playing..
if they think they are worth 5 or 6 grand a week to play fothe 1st team then they must think sittin on thebench for the reserves is only worth one or two grand.

give them a shot of that, the two fannies should be taught a lesson.

Always support the badge of the front, NEVER the name on the back.
