The people crying "bigotry" on the discussion part of that page are a disgrace. It's an insult to anyone who has truely suffered at the hands of bigots. They are using it to hide behind, and goes to show what I said on another thread to be true, about 50% of Celtic fans don't go to games to watch football, all they are interested in is pathetic petty politics and singing their maudlin ditties.
The fact is Lennon is an plain ordinary, mundane little cheat. When things start going wrong on the park for Celtic he drags the game down to his level. Good solid player on his day but is well passed it now, and never had any real class to begin with. The "headbutt" incident is covering over his countless fouls and attempts to go right through several Hibs players, as well as the diving and screaming in the Refs face whenever things didn't go his way and sometimes when they did.

Lennon is a victim of unwarranted bigotry and he has my sympathies for that. Lennon is also a cheating, arrogant wee bawbag and he has my unbridled contempt for that as well. There's no contradiction between the two positions and one is not an excuse for the other.
