Naturally, the question of who Thomson and Brown go to was deemed more worth discussing than the actual match in prospect.

Chick Young said that 'as a football fan' he'd prefer to see them go to the Old Firm so he could still see them play every week. No TV in the Young house, then.

Also confidently predicted both would leave in the January window, Brown to Rangers for sure.
I have the misfortune to work with a Rangers fan, who is quite prepared to admit he'd like to see Brown replace Barry Ferguson, sooner the better. Annoying enough, Chick Young is meant to be a journalist and, worse still, anyone who is paying their TV license is subsidising the @rse.

I was moved to comment not so much by the revelation that he's an arse, or that I take him seriously - just look at the state of him, with his ever-changing hair colour, for a start.

More annoyed by the fundamental dishonesty of his comments. He, for all his comments about other teams, is essentially another part of the pro-OF establishment, but doesn't even have the guts to admit it. Frankly, the unconvincing pretence is more annoying than the truth.
