Re: Up the league...

Hearts are up shit creek. We will finish above them as long as Mad Vlad keeps up his good work.
Saying that, we should be battling it out with them even if Mad Vlad wasn't fcuking up the club.
January is going to be a long month. We'll be in the back pages almost every day I think.

Yeah but tommorow someone will leap frog us, because if i am right both Rangers and Hertz are on the same points so what ever the score we are going to get jumped.

Ach aye but unless they draw then we will be ahead of either one of them, and with this couple of home games coming, its looking very healthy!

We are in a different class from the huns and the yams when we play. If Collins can keep up this consistency then 2nd place is a very realistic acheivement. Its a pity he hadnt come in earlier this season actually

Does anyone think it's realistic for us to grab second? Perform like we did today and we should!

Of course it is. As pointed out above we are far superior to the huns and the mini huns. We are every bit as good as Smelltic too. The difference being they have that winning mentality and pick up 3 points near enough every week even when playing bad. Thats what we lacked under Mowbray, hopefully JC will alter that.

Looks like hes doing just that.

I reckon if he can get Killen on a longer contract and maybe snap up another striker in the window then 2nd could be ours.

Its great dishing out pumpings like todays, but we need strikers in the Killen mould who can get a goal out of one or two chances in a tight game

Personally if a 2 Million pound offer came in for Thomson in January I'd take it. Dont get me wrong he's a very good player but with Stewart Boozy and Brown in there we'd still cope fine. With the money I think he could improve the team hugely.

We could also start to bring Kevin McDonald through who looks like he will play a big part in our future.

Agree. I also think if Stewart had a more prominent role in that midfield and was playing every week he'd step up a gear.

As much as wed hate to see Thommo go, that money could go a long way to tying down Stewart, Killen, Brown and maybe even getting another goal poacher in.

Yes , i'm thinking more about Hibs than the O/F.
I think with 2 million JC could make us stronger which is the part that interests me

To be honest. I think if Thommo goes, Broonaldo would follow shortly. Even if the old firm could afford them, are they honeslty going to give hibs 5 - 6 million? Are they feck.

I know where you are coming from.
I'm just fed up with losing our best players to the old firm. They just waste them.

Yes I would take it even from them. If thats where he wanted go then fine, it will take a lot more than Kevin Thomson to improve the Huns anyway. And if it was Celtic, we dont compete with them anyway and probably wont for a good while yet so its not improving a team we're competing with.

Scott Brown will have Premiership interest, he has to have Premiership interest. I really cant see him ending up in Glasgow but I could be mistaken and shown that Brown has no ambition at all but I just doubt it.

I'd say Brown could play for the majority of Premiership teams which must surely be his aim .
As much money as the old firm and a hell of a lot less off field hassle
