Both John Collins and Willie McKay are pals from Monaco.

Thommo and Scotty B want improved deals which all partys know Hibs cannot afford. Johny Boy gives his pal from Monaco a call and says of ive got two of the best talents here, but i want to win silverware! I want to win silverware in my first season with Hibs!!

So he tell willie to get it all stirred up with clubs chapping at his door for kevy and scotty, they dont go for 2 million in january, they go for 3 million each in the summer after winning a cup with Hibs.

Just want to say that it was told to me in the pub my a freinds very drunk dad and this was his reasoning.

I could make up any number of different but equally plausible stories but what's the point?

Actually, it didn't make any sense to me.

Maybe it seems more straightforward when you're in the pub.

Think the "sense" is that JC has put them in touch with a new agent who will look to get them a better deal away from the infirm, but on the understanding that he waits until the end of the season to see how their stock has risen etc.

Better than some players in the SPL tho who have ex Huns/Celts as their agents, and therefore the ambition for them is just to end up in the Weege watching from the stand.

Will be a very nervous January, but I can't see either of them going, unless it's for some SERIOUS money. The fact that both getting in the Scotland squads now means that we can demand more money for potential international stars who are already getting recognition for their exploits.

Unfortunately, the transfer window will be shutting the night of the CIS semi, so quite what that game'll be like I dunno!

Think there should be a ban on any posts that include the words "transfer" and/or "McKay"!
