Stools From The Sphincter of Jambo Delusion Number Six

The 6-2 result flattered Hibs. Hibs only had a brief spell either side of half-time. Everything Hibs hit went in that night. The moves Hibs did that night would only come off as a one-off on the training ground. All these comments are posted on a thread on keechback entitled 'for those of us who were at the 6-2 game'. Well, for a start, that's a phuckin' giraffe, as it's had eleven responses and I dinnae think that many skates turned up at the Leith San Siro that autumnal Sabbath.

I was at the 6-2 and I also attended their 5-1 (left at 3-1) and the 4-0 (left at 3-0) cup semi. I've also seen the 7-0 defeat at Ibrox (left at 3-0), a 5-0 defeat by Aberdeen, 4-0 by Celtic and St Mirren. I've seen Scotland destroy Yugoslavia 6-1 and down here watched the Bluebirds annihilate Exeter 6-1 and Bristol Rovers 5-1 (not that the English third and fourth divisions are of the same quality of the SPL).

BUT I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED A TOTAL AND UTTER ANNIHILATION OF ANOTHER TEAM AS COMPREHENSIVE AS THAT NIGHT.

Mixu Paatelainen, justifiably, was named man of the match that evening, but the accolade could just as easily have gone to his compatriot, Antti Niemi. Had he not performanced as defiantly as he had hertz would have conceded double that half-dozen.

And, as for their 5-1, anyone who witnessed the two injury time goals Caig practically threw into the net cannot objectively tell me that hertz merited that four goal winning margin. Christ, we should have been awarded a penalty shortly after their third. Even Harry Potter conceded that.

Phuckin' Jambos, supreme, self-important, overbearing. Footballing phuckin traffic wardens that's all they are.

But Dorothy and her deluded denizens have taken more than a few steps down the maroon brick road to oblivion.

Now, where's Julien Brellier, I mean the cowardly lion?
