I have heard that john collins has been offered the position at ER I have no queeries about his skills of management after his rollacoster of a playing carrer.although people are going on about his contacts he would have established over his playing days I feel they will be out of the ER faithfull price range it would be good to see a new sauzee at ER but will he be able to get the guys in our wage bracket?:

Actually a we bit dissapointed for Proctor as he has done a great job for us, and also the players like him....but im sure JC will do a good job if selected.

A bigger problem is that Tommy Craig is coming with him. If anyone can make the beautiful game sound complicated it's Tommy. Im sorry but please don't let him near Easter Road. If John is the manager so be it and we will support him but Craig is not the man for No 2.

proctor has been a sound investment at ER I feel him at no2 would be the best bet as he knows the working and ambition of the club he also wants the team to play the same or similar way TM had them playing and finally and most importantly the players want him.
I dont understand why he aint favorite for the job I dont understand why he isnt employed as manager already there must be something petrie aint happy about maybe his wage packet is 50 quid heavier than JC

I agree with you mate, but i dont feel that JC will wont Proctor as his assistant, i feel that he will want his own man.....it doesn't matter to me who it is aslong as they do a good job with our club.

Very true. JC is no mug, neither is Craig - he's been round the block a few times. If Proctor stays in some capacity, all the better but the proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating.

If Collins is appointed ( and I will wait for the official announcement) , then he has to be allowed to pick his own no. 2 whether the fans like him or not. Tommy Craig has vast experience in the game and has coached at a high level for many years. Along with JC himself, he will almost certainly have many contacts in English football which will be of benefit to Hibernian.

If any of this is true Proctor must be kicking himself. He came here and said the Darlington manager isnt going anywhere soon, next thing you know he's gone. I said Proctor made a smart move but he might be spewing right now at a missed opportunity.
