Mark Proctor

Would be the general feeling of everyone if Mark Proctor got the job?(heard a wee rumor 5 mins ago)

Im against it, I may be wrong but the guy has no REAL knowledge of Scottish Football and the history of our club. If he does get it hopefully Mogga has clued him up before he done a runner.

Regardless, I would give him my full backing until I had any reason not to the same as all previous managers we have had in my short lifetime.

Re: Mark Proctor

I'm sure Mark Proctor is a good coach, but I would not be in favour of him getting the Hibs managers job. He can't have any real knowlege at all of Scottish Football or Hibernian. I've always been against in-house appointments anyway as they very rarely work out.

A new broom is required.

However, if Proctor gets the job he will get my total support.

Re: Mark Proctor

This would be more disappointing than Mowbray leaving!

I'd really question where my ST money is all going if this happened!

I do and have done for quite a few seasons now!, I think an appointment like that would be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me!

He is a first team coach, brought in to help Mowbray and Venus with specialised coaching of players. To give a total newcomer to Scottish football who hasn't managed at any level before, the Hibs managers job would be a very bad move IMO. It worked once with Mowbray, but I seriously doubt they could get away with it again.

Surely we can attract a manager with some track record behind him. We're in the top four clubs in Scotland FFS.
