I was hoping they'd do another pyrotechnic wonder and we would'nt have to see the ugly feckers behind the smog of their cheap sparklers....

This is a good ideae. Rangers done it in the champions league and it looked good (not the ideal thing to say on the eve of the game). But a sea of green and white greeting the players would look magnificent!

I posted details in the other thread about just how cheap and easy it is to organise this.

Could any of the Emra-based supporters' clubs take this on???

Can't find it either.

The gist was that all it took to organise was a few people to go into the ground before a game and attach an A3? (twice the size of A4) sheet to the each seat using an elastic band.

The, posters are put up at each turnstile telling people when to hold the 'cards' up (ie, just before kick-off etc).

It looked class at the NI v Iceland game and cost next to nothing. A wee turnstile collection each time we do it would cover for the cost for the next card display match and so on. NI fans (who got a donation from their club for their last card display) have set up their own[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]for this purpose alone.

here's an idea!

Why don't all our supporters wear maroon and white scarfs and wave them vigorously at the match.

That way we will have all the colour we need and be able to keep warm at the same time!
Posted by a Yam but regardless of that he has a point.
