This whole copywrite situation is getting well out of hand

If i'm in the crowd and someone takes video footage of me, say Setanta or STV or the like, and it is shown on telly,according to the data protection act i have not given them permission to view film of me, so therefor i can sue.
Surely the club can only have control of the video footage they 'allow' to be filmed. If someone films something and the club don't know about it, or fail to stop it, then this must be considered tuff titty

Otherwise everybody will be claiming monies from filming even the street CCTV.

I beleive the copyright is owned by the SPL not the club, and you agree to be filmed when you enter the premises.

I agree wholeheartedly EH - and I'm sure the Admins would too - but I'm sure none of us would like to see our favourite Hibs website in bother with the New Media Police.
