Ok if we had to choose between both players at the peak of the game, which one would you rather have?

I'm kinda undecided, but i think i will go for boozy cos i heard alot of bad stuff about brebner! Like the betting and something else, that i dont wanna say on the board.

So who's it to be?

Well, your choice for going with Boozy is to do with Brebners off field antics, so surely that's going against the first part of your post?

For me, I dunno to be honest either - I would actually say Brebner in his very best form, though run very close by Boozy in the 2-0 derby win last year and 3-2 defeat at the Jim Torbett Bowl. Apart from those two games, I can't think of a phenomenal Boozy performance, as opposed to some from Brebner, especially in his loan spell.

However, I wouldn't touch Brebner with a barge pole now as he's past it and generally not focussed - the gambling stories are probably all correct, including the encouragement of others (McManus, then the pair of them with Wiss) and so I think TM was correct to bin him - and his best games at Hibs were a long long time ago.

Brebs every time, though I like both as players. Brebs edges it by not being constantly injured.

I would say Boozy. When Boozy is on his game he is phenominal with his little tricks and amazing passes. He even gets up and scores a few goals

But Like Tully said earlier, will he be able to get himself back in the squad. Stewart is Outstanding at te moment IMO!!

in reallity we have never really seen boozy at the top of his game,however he does show he has the makings of a good player if he steers clear of injury.

boozy by far...He is much more creative in a dip in form than brebner ever was for hibs.

Brebner was a hard worker and played for the badge but boozy has more class.

Been watching Brbs down here as he plays for Melbourne Victory now. He's been doing quite well, playing the holding role in midfield, missed a good chance in the first game, bossed it over the Sydney Clowns last week too. Also succeeded in kicking the ball six feet sideways and falling on his rear when taking a corner!!

I think what happened to Grant Brebner has been a tragic waste of a very talented player. On his game, Grant showed that he was a very good player, and had been well coached at Manchester United before he came to Hibs. The guy has an illness, and all we can do is wish him all the very best in Melbourne. I hope he does well with them, and comes back to play top flight football again in Scotland somewhere.

Boozy is a much more creative player however. The tragedy in his case has been that his Hibs career has been so blighted by injury. We have yet to see him at his best, and I realy hope he is still the same player after this long time out. If he is, then we are going to have one hell of a midfield. Boozy is a great passer of the ball, and can score goals from midfield which is a huge asset for us.

I like both Brebner and Boozy, but if I had the choice it would be Boozy.
