Why does he say he "Expects no further developments" and not
something along the lines of "Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson have recently signed long term deals with Hibernian. It would take an exceptional bid for either player to not be at Easter Road for the forseeable future, and we actively discourage any bid for the players concerned" That would maybe ease the fans nerves a bit.
