Re: petrov

Hope this dutch boy isn't playing. IMO he'd give smelltic a huge boost.

Remember the last dutch striker that made his debut against us

Our slightly more 'budget' Dutchman may just put him in his place though!

Hopefully mate. At least Shelts has a couple of games under his belt now.

Re: petrov

Take Petrov out the Celtic midfield and i feel Hibs hold a good advantage in there. Can see Mogga going for the five man midfield to start with today along the lines of Fletcher, Brown, Stewart, Thomson and Zemmama. If this is even close then i am very confident the bookies will have got the pricing wrong for this match. Celtic are there for the taking today i only hope that Hibs take the chance.

I agree!

It all hinges on whether Hibs manage to put their chances away this week, even with Caldwell playing they have a stronger defence than Motherwell or Peterhead! Let's hope our guys start getting the luck in front of goal!

Re: petrov

Today is the biggest test yet for our team.

The key thing as always, will be to stop Celtic playing. Let's hope we can gain an advantage in midfield because that is where the game will be won or lost.

I still think a draw would be an excellent result for us. I don't think it would be a good idea to take Celtic lightly, particularly at Parkhead where they very rarely lose.

We have to be well-organised, and take any chances that come our way. No conceding early goals (which is what they will try for), and no goalkeeper cock-ups.

He is away home to tie up his domestic arrangements. No doubt rhe soapies will use this excuse for three points heading off along the M8.

.

If we can keep out early goals as you say, and put up a fight in the middle of the park and finish the chances we get, I feel we could sneak it.

Celtic normally let us play our football and unlike other teams they do not seem to close us down as soon so we might be able to pass it about easier than in other games.

I would be happy with a draw though.

Re: petrov

I'm more worried by Kenny Miller than anyone!

He's without question a proven goalscorer at a higher level than the SPL, and one of these days it's going to click for him, just hope it's not today!

Why are some of us 'Worried'?

I think they lot should be a little bit more worried than us lot..

Caldwell? Lennon? Miller? That's their spine..

I think Mowbray will go 4-1-4-1 today. Convinced we'll win today. But we've nothing to fear. Pressure all on they lot..

Don't worry about me Smurf, I'm always worried about something!

My problem is I'm a 'glass half empty' type of guy! Some of you may have noticed!
