The 20-year-old left-side full back is currently with Hibs and has graduated through the Easter Road club's youth policy over the past two years. Said Ian McCall, "Dermott is the type of young player I've been looking for. He's 5 feet 11 ins. and not just a ball-winning type of defender. He likes to play football and has a lot of pace, and with injuries in that department we need cover". As with our other new recruit, Barry Callaghan, Dermott will be 'on loan' until January.
