I don't know why they use the term centimes, maybe it's a translation of Dirham, the Moroccan currency. 3 billion dirhams is about 186 million pounds sterling. A tad excessive I'd say.

Although the currency is Dirhams, Moroccans will speak about money in centimes (or 20 centimes- 'wahid elef' which was the equivalent of 1 old Moroccan Franc)

The Casablanca fans forum are saying that the FRMF (Moroccan football federation) have submitted a complete dossier to FIFA in which the FRMF verify that in October 2004 Zemmama signed a contract
which lasted until 2009 and a copy of the contract has been sent to FIFA which concludes that the Zemmama signature is genuine.

I think they go on to say they blame Zemmama's family for 'falsifying the International release forms' so believe that if you will but I guess it makes a change from blaming 'the mafia'.

Personally I'd go for a huge conspiracy theory to winkle money out of Hibs between Raja Casblanca,the FRMF and various agents of which Hibs are very unwittingly caught up in but if Mr Petrie, Mr Hardie or Mr Crowther want to add anything when they read this then feel free.

Interesting developments today in the Morroccan press and Casablanca websites.

In an official statement of the Moroccan Royal Federation of football Saturday August 26, this one announced to have deposited felt sorry for against Merouane Zemmama and "the intermediaries" for forgery and use of forgery''.

According to sources close to the FRMF, the police force has been seized by this business for a few days already. Very interesting to see developments here.

I have a feeling we have not heard the last of this by any means. As long as Zemmama is able to stay here and play for Hibs, then I don't really care who has to pay what. It does look however, that Hibs have been unwittingly caught up in a web of dodgy dealings, and the sooner the matter is resolved the better.

Good research Sam. The info you have been able to gather so far is much appreciated by everyone i'm sure. Let's just hope there is a happy ending here, and an exciting young player is allowed to stay and continue playing here.
