C5 HFC is on the way to a first team debut
Negative Comments

Season hasnt properly started, but cant believe what Im seeing !!! Thread after thread of negative comments, even slagging Thomson as being crap. He has had a couple of below average performances and he is being crucified. He is a fantastic player who we all raved about last year. He has not become crap overnight !

The manager who has been a breath of fresh air since arriving and also turning down other jobs to remain here, also being slated.

I could easily go on to a Hearts forum and hear this criticism of Hibs, without reading it on here.

What the hell do we expect ? . What money does TM have to compete with the old firm and unfortunately now Hearts. What right did we have to beat Rangers 3 times last season and Hearts twice.

All I ask is that you get behind the side and support them. We pride ourselves as brilliant supporters, lets start proving it

Agreed,While it would have been nice to play a UEFA qualifier or two it's hardly the end of the world that we're not.
We obviously look short in some departments and that's the managements job to rectify but It's pre-season,folk should chill.
Next saturday is the most important thing as far as i'm concerned.

Re: Negative Comments

Agree 100%, I was surprised to read all the negativity last night. No Fletcher, no Scott Brown or Boozy, (thats our best striker and 2 of our best 3 midfielders), and we still beat a decent Euro side to go out on away goals.

Apparently we need to sell Whittaker and Thomson cos they're not good enough WTF?

The club entered the Inter Toto looking for UEFA participation. In no way were we ready. We paid £20 to watch that performance yesterday and are entitled to moan and ask questions.

Re: Negative Comments

The knee-jerk reactions on the bounce after every defeat are a complete embarrassment. If I read the statement 'the juries out on X' again i'll commit myself to the Royal Ed.

Players such as Thompson getting ripped on the basis of a game in July is quite frankly a disgrace. The man is in his early 20's and one of the best central midfielders in the country.

People say this site is getting more like hibs.net every day. I agree but for a different reason. I don't really give a chuff about admin styles but the hibs boards are absolutely identical. What a bunch of pessimistic, negative, delusional moaners.

For crying out loud the season hasn't even started! So how can we expect all our players to be fully match/mentally fit.

I also think that we are really going to struggle for goals next season looking at that performance, thought Killen was again crap and thought Benji had his moment and think he just has to develop, because he often seemed to chicken out of headers which isn't to good, dont think Whittiker should play in that position again, he needs to put in tackles at the right moment which he isn't doing.

Fair enough, but this level of criticism at the moment is a bit much considering we're only in July.

Dunfermline , Motherwell , Killie fans just appear to stop going when they're doing bad .

haven't noticed any change in that...

It is only July but there are definitely signs to be concerned about ....

we can't keep losing quality players and not replacing them and expect to improve ...

that said, we still have some of the best and most exciting young talents in the country at ER ... and Rob Jones looks a great signing .....
