Thoughts on these.......??

According to skysports.com Manchester United are looking for Gerard Pique and Johnny Evans to gain valuable first team experience this coming season. Havent heard an awful lot about Evans cept from the fact hes from Belfast and had a great run for the MU reserves last season - as did Pique whom is a hard hitting centre half but also able to fill a void in the centre of the park kinda in the mold of John O'Shea but hes being revved up as "The Next Big Thing" with Man Utd was snared from Barca at the same time as Cesc Fabregas and how ironic that his last name is Bernabau (excuse the spelling). With Hibs' almost immobility in the transfer market cept for Jones wondering what anyones thoughts on this pair maybe being taken on would be??

It would be wise to be interested at least in these sort of players imo. Even if it is only on a year long loan it would buy time for the next best youth players in our own reserves to develope that bit more and hopefully be able to step in once these guys went back to their own clubs. Certainly in favour of taking English based players on loan for a season especially if they are highly rated young players like Pique.

I really do find our lack of transfer activity of concern.

I am confident enough that Mowbray has people in mind and we will add to our squad before the start of the season. A New defender and striker hopefully.

The season starts pretty soon, i doubt that we are going to sign anyone before the season starts, we havn't exactly heard of any interest of other players have we

am pretty worried that Mogga has spent the bulk of the transfer money on Jones.

We will have at least another two players by the time the Aberdeen match comes along. You dont always hear of interest in people before they sign.

Sir Alex says he would also allow Bepe Rossi to leave on loan and as mogga says he wants another attack minded player he could do no worse than this guy scored almost thirty goals for utd resesves last term as well as two or three for the first team I think ! :YAYYY:

I'm hoping we'll have some more players in at least by the time it closes, even if the deals aren't done for day 1 of the season ...

After saying I thought there would be 2 more signings before the first match, i was very disappointed to read what Mowbray had to say today.

With 2 more signings we could seriously challenge at the top. Mogga was supposed to have been looking at player all last season ready to sign in the summer yet only one has signed. Lets just hope a couple of trialists are good enough and get signed up.

Well as Mogga has said today he doesn't excpect to sign anyone else then i have to kinda go with him on that one
