A Thank You to Hibs Fans
I received an email from the Pregnancy Crisis Centre in Dnipropetrovsk.
It is one of the places that the Dnipro Appeal helps and recently, thanks to the kind donations from the Hibernian Support, we were able to send over some baby food to help out some of the young mothers in Dnepropetrovsk. The main aim of the Pregnancy Crisis Centre is to try and support the young mothers and prevent the new born children from becoming orphans. "Dear Steven, It is a joy to share with you the "good news"; we have received our baby food order from Nestle. Natasha and I were exstatic to have the food and formula to give our clients. That order should last us for approximately six to eight weeks. Please, let the Hibernian fans know how much we appreciate their generous giving to the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Dnipropetrovsk. We are so thankful for their compassion and acts of kindness. Thank you all for supporting our efforts to help mommies with babies and their families. God Bless You, Pamela." As much as I think the same as everyone else and its all wonderful stuff and I am soooooo proud to be even the smallest bit connected to such things that photo makes me so mad! Basic food - thats all that was sent - it shouldn't have to be! We think nothing of nipping to the shops for baby formula. The contestants of BB are supposedly on basic food rations as a punishment this week!!
