Garry got interviewed while in edinburgh and said when his 5 years at moscow is finished he is defintely signin for hibs again and hope to be here for some time. The reason he left was to get his baby and fiancee financially secure and then he will go wherever

how not? oconnor loved playing in scotland and even more for hibs, he loves representing his country and he cant do that in russia, moscow doesnt let him, he will come back not only for his football but because his his child and partner are getting homesick

I might be wrong but having read his interview i got the impression he would like to come back to Hibs when he is coming to the end off his career maybe around the 32/33 year old mark and try pass on what he has learned.

hes cumin up for 24 so in 5 years he will be nearly 30 lol so he would retire anyway because hes not the type of player that drags his career on and on

Thats the same impression i got, I dont think he will be back untill he is into his 30's

Didnt read it that way myself. I reckon Moscow will want some money back in a couple of years and Garry will want to try out for another Euro team maybe in warmer climates and only then return to Hibs at an age where he might be looking for coaching badge.

all just depends on how good a career he has, if he carries on doing well in russia he may even get a better european team coming in for him and then he certainly wouldnt be back at the hibees untill hes near retirement and that would be his swansong

on the other hand if he flops or becomes unhappy out in russia he could be backer quicker than you think

dinnie post a lot of pish,moscow wont let him play for scotland, utter rubish,his family are at home more than they are in moscow so home sick, crap and when he has proved himself in russia he will move to a big club outside scotland, maybe coming to ER in the latter stages of his career.

were does everybody get this moscow is cold idea? its their winters that are cold,they have better summers than we do and when it is the cold winters the football stops and gary comes home,so in reallity the man wont experience the cold.
