I think these can be taken with a pinch of salt.

The old Firm have by far number 1 and 2 away support, but as they only have 2 50,000 away gates (away at Celtic Park or away at Ibrox = 100,000) to other teams 4 (away at both Celtic Park and Ibrox = 200,000) it is going to skew the statistics!

Who cares about stats like this anyway - leave braging about number of fans to pathetic clubs like Hearts and Aberdeen, who never seem to shut up about their support!

yeah celtic and rangers probably do have a bigger support but its nice to have the facts to prove that we have a better travelling support than the jambos

I'm not too bothered about that and won't be doing it!

I couldn't really give a monkey's chuff about how many fans teams take to grounds!

I'll leave bragging about such pathetic things to inseucre teams like hearts and Aberdeen, who seem to think it is the be all and end all to have more supporters than another team!

Re: attendances

Not necessarily a bigger away support than the Yams.

Could be that the home teams draw more of their own supporters versus us because they know they will see an attractive game of football against an attacking away team with a pysh poor defence !

Re: attendances

The interesting bit for me is that the Jambos have 56,000 more through the gates over a season than us. This makes them somewhere between £500,000 and a million better off than us.

If rumours are correct, that amount will pay one top earner's wages at the PBS. That leaves Mad Vlad to pay the other £4 million beyond their income!

This puts them into the middle ground between the Infirm, with mega budgets, and the rest of us. The Jambos are enjoying their day in the sun but melanomia is acoming.

Keep the faith

They may have had more through the gate but did they not offer a lot of 'subsidised' cheap tickets

We may have a decent away support but rarely a load one.

Re: attendances

In terms of loyalty, vocal support and dedication, I think Hibs and Aberdeen are at the top of the tree by a long way. Look at the support we took to Killie on the last day of the season. Nothing to play for, and a mega trek to get there, yet we still take over 1500:YAYYY:
