Anyone else just a tad surprised at the lack of comment from TM regarding Riordan's departure ? I would have thought that with your top striker signing for a rival club, he would have had something to say to the fans through the media today.

To be fair, he's said all along Derek won't be here after his contract runs out. He's probably sitting saying to all the folk that believed he would sign, "told ye so"

And infact it was DR that chose to go, he wasnt forced out, he was offered a deal to make him the highest earner.

And I bet TM is pissed off to the highest aswell and that'll add to the reasons for him wanting to feck off to England.

How can 'Honest Tony' say anything sensibly as this is the man who doesn't want to be at Hibs for more than 3/4 years and doesn't intend to stay long term in Scottish football and doesn't like the crap facilities.

Derek Riordan has played first team football at Hibs for 4 years if not 7/8 in total and he does want to stay in Scottish football and Celtic have just announced a £10m training ground proposal.

Hence I don't think Mr Mowbray can add anything sensible to the debate with any sort of a straight face so he is best to keep stummmmmm and just pretend he is on his holibobs.
