LutherBlisset can only hope to improve
When did the Rioradn deal get done?

Was it at the same time as Caldwells or in the past week?

Couldnt have been at the same time as Caldwell mate, he's out of contract in June so could sign in January, Deeks runs out in October, so he had to wait until April to sign for anyone.Still gutted.

I'd wager it's been a done deal unofficially for some time now possibly around the time of the Range Rover deal

Bit of news management for Celtic I think.

Aye, but I seem to recall all the inane chat about new flash motors around about april, so the deal could have been legitimately done then.So Derek has CFC to thank for his shiny new off-roader

Re: When did the Rioradn deal get done?

I reckon that by the Aberdeen game ( the 3rd one) he was definately away. My cousin asked TM if Riordan was going to stay and he said no, sorry.

Re: When did the Riordan deal get done?

Cant say i'm surprised by this move. Riordan to me made it clear he didn't want to leave home when he knocked back moves to Cardiff and joining O'Connor, both probably offering equal/better money than Celtic. Possibly wants to stay close to home, friends and family etc. A move to Glasgow means that can happen. Not exactly ambition considering i dont think it will improve him as much as a player, as it would had he gone elsewhere - The opposition he will be playing against will not change excusing the european matches.

We were always losing him, it was always accepted. But because it's Celtic it hurts. It hurts because you thought he wouldn't being a Hibs fan, knowing the torture he would place on the fans. But then, people look out for themselves, and themselves only.
