Is Mogga good enough for Boro job?

I've said it before and i say it again, i dont think mogga is good enough for the boro job. He has been a great manager with us but going from the SPL to the premiership is a pretty huge step.I hope he stays because im sure there are many more great moments still to come under his management but if you do go mogga i wish you all the best!

i agree with that because he does not have a lot of experience being a manager and from the spl to the premiership will be a big jump for him

Re: Is Mogga good enough for Boro job?

mogga's main strength is his man management in my opinion and not his tactical abilities and i think even though its a huge step to the premiership boro also have a very good youth system and have lots of promising youngsters coming through to the first team last season, so you never know he could be able to get the same out of those players as he has done at hibs and it would be interesting to see what kind of signings he could make when given a bit of money

Broxburn_Hibby will become famous soon enough
Re: Is Mogga good enough for Boro job?

I personally don't think he is but theres every chance he will be in the running Thing is though how many managers in recent times have went to down to England and made something of themselves Levein,Williamson,Jefferies etc have all went down there and ended up worse off than when they were up here. This is something Tony will have to be careful of

Interesting.

He does seem to get the best out of some players.
Yet others, if what we read online is true, he seems to be less than fair with.

I see your point, but Mogga has done the reverse. He started his coaching career dahn sarf and has 'went up here' to try it out. So far he has done quite well I would say, but not well enough to play with the big boys in the Premiership.

Report Card says: Satisfactory, good start and hopes that continuous professional development is to be maintained.

Well if your being told by people like Mr Petrie that you can't offer him the money he wants because we can't afford to then its tough.Derek is a brilliant player but no player is bigger than the club. However, the substituting of him in a couple of games has mystified me but i really can't see Mowbray deliberately subbing him just because he wont sign the contract neither do i think that they've had a fall out.Conspiracy theories reagarding this pair have been rife recently Sad state of affairs indeed.

Re: Is Mogga good enough for Boro job?

i dont think he would want it, too many funny tempermental players, fucking mclarens going to get walked all over in england job, and will fuck them for another four years which is good.
Mogga should try for Charlton job if he was going to england.

Re: Is Mogga good enough for Boro job?

If he says that he finds being Hibs manager ''suffocating'', then how would he cope in the premiership???

Re: Is Mogga good enough for Boro job?

Yeah he should stay another couple years like he said he was going to before the Scottish cup QF. However, should he leave this summer he goes with my best wishes he has turned our club around.
