Hibs Match on weekend of Sat 22nd July

I'm sure somebody on a previous post stated that InterToto 2nd qualifier matches are due to take place this weekend; could somebody please confirm that? If not, who are we likely to be playing in a pre-season friendly and where is the venue likely to be?

It's Zondervan's 35th birthday on the 20th and the Chester crepe stall legend that is Andy Kerr's wedding on the 21st so it's a Sweary trip north. It would be great to fit a Hibs match in as well.

Second round (when we enter) is weekends of 1st (home) & 8th July, last round is indeed 15th (away) & 22nd so you're laughing

You've then known Mikey when he was truly 'Mad'! The man is an absolute legend. One of the funniest kantz I've ever met.

Just hope the Hibs are home that weekend. If (and I know I shouldn't really speculate on 'if's) we did negotiate these hurdles then, presumably, we'd be in the first UEFA Cup qualifying round and could well draw Welsh opposition (like Aberdeen and Celtic -twice- in recent years) or even have a wee trip to the Emerald Isle (like Aberdeen)?

Somebody please confirm. I remember going to Swindon v Hibs on 14.08.90. It was great being able to see the Hibs without travelling literally hundreds of miles. Kano scored two absolute rakers that night. Good Hibbie support of about 150 or so (well, Tuesday in the West Country's a long way from Edinburgh).

Of course, the Hibs support had increased a bit by the Friday for the Millwall game!

Swindon, Stoke maybe (defintetely someone in the midlands?), then Millwall was the tour iirc?

Think it is the second (ie the last) qualifying round before the first round we'd go into if we got there.

Watford was the other game in that tour.

At least there's more chance of us getting through a round or two in the Intertoto than Hearts getting anywhere near the Champions League (not that they've quite grasped this yet).

it's true 2 say that a large proportion of the hertz support have brains that do not allow any semblance of realism to intrude at the moment. did u see that clown in 2day's record who spent a grand (A FECKIN GRAND!) gettin the hertz club crest with 'ROMANOV' above it tattooed on his back? What a nipple.

I've got 7 Hibs tattoos at a total cost of £305 (the most expensive was the current badge, done at Dragon's Lair, for £70) but I'd never get 'TOM FARMER' or 'ROD PETRIE' oan ma back.

Imagine how much of a plum I'd look if I had 'DUFF AND GRAY'!

BIG G - I can mind me n Alan having a peeve wi u in Tamson's one random Friday in September 2004 and you showed us the various Hi-bees Bounce images on your phone (the Sauzee one may well become ma eighth Hibs tattoo one day!) and I can confirm that he is indeed 35 on Thursday 20.07.06.
