Seven Tattoos is on the way to a first team debut
Imagine Being Judas Iscarrot Tonight

I wonder what's going through the mind of the GJP just now. In just under three hours he'll 'manage' huns FC in an away league match for the last time. Against the club he betrayed for those tempting thirty sashes of orange, four years and four and a half months ago.

There's a strange kind of symmetrical irony there when you consider that he left us on Tuesday 11.12.01 and we played (and were unlucky only to draw) at Ibrox the following night (1-1, Paco Luna).

Judas'll want to go out with a win, so there's a possibility Sunday's match against the skates has some meaning. I can't ever forgive him for the way he shat on us, the way he bequeathed Eduardo Hurtado to us and the copious derogatory remarks he's made against us since then.

It's a shame because I look back on the McLeish era fondly (the derby record, 3-0, 3-1 and 6-2 inside ten months, Athens, Sauzee, Latapy, Zitelli, Libbra) but I'd quite happily see him lose heavily both tonight and on Sunday against hertz.

What does the future hold for him? Media punditry? Who else would give him a manager's job given that, for all the resources they've got, they finished below a collection of Lithuanian mercenaries.

Re: Imagine Being Judas Iscarrot Tonight

Sadly, that is possible. But that would not be a popular move and with no money to pay for another Sauzee or Latapy (who, along with Paatelainen and Jack were the mainstays of that team) how would he fare?

I for one believe that that would be a retrograde step.

Stranger things have happened but I still don't think that's very likely. I think he'll manage a Championship team sometime soon. He's now quite experienced and has, on paper, a decent managerial record.

It's NEVER going to happen.
There were two people at Easter Road who felt particularly betrayed at Judas' little game. (Well, there were tons more... but you get my drift

)
One of them is no longer involved with the Club, the other now has his job! (Big Malky and Rod Petrie were the two for any who haven't cottoned on.

Rod Mouser was royally shafted by the lies of his 'friend' Judas.

I know that Jesus forgave Judas, but I doubt if Rod Almighty would be so charitable. He doesn't strike me as the forgiving type.

For the avoidance of doubt, anything stated in the above post is written without prejudice; is probably completely uninformed opinion, and possibly just a figment of my imagination. Readers should either ignore, treat with contempt, or simply accept the spirit it is written in, without recourse to huffy replies, legal action or threats of violence.
That includes YOU.
