The Mindset of Jumbos

While all the theories are abound about Hibs lying down to the Hun next week heres a story from 2003 season when the Bigot Brothers were neck and neck for the title.
It was Wee Huns-Big Huns at Tincastle think it was 3rd last game? A couple of my Jumbo relatives were wanting Rangers to win this game and to win by a few goals to ensure Rangers pipped Celtic to the League. Remember this was of no consequence to themselves or their city rivals Hibernian but only of consequence to the Glasgow teams. So if any Jumbos moan about us lying down next week feck them I for one will not shed any tears if a defeat gives us a place in Europe and even better stops them getting in Champions League - if they're good enough they'll win at Eyepox last game.

top post sir

Will be funny if the yams try to blame US for them not making the CL should satans XI beat us..
We will of course have arguably played a decisive role in their not qualifying having humbled them twice and denied them 6 points.

It's in hearts own hands, if they f##k it up they've only got themselves to blame, no one else.

If they get in they can thank us for taking more points off the huns than they did!

Just for interest if you showed a league purely based on games between the top 4:

Team Pts
Celtic 24
Hibs 13
Rangers 11
Hearts 11

Us and Celtic have got one game left from this group, the huns have 2 each.

It's not been our form against the better sides which has cost us league position this year, it's been against everyone else.

Nice piece of work, comrade!

My biggest disappointment in terms of points lost has been the games against Caley (not least because my better half and her kids are Caley fans) . 9 points dropped; 6 of them at home. Even the 6 home points would have made a huge difference.
