This Moaning About Us Lying Down

Was looking through my newspaper clippings of this time last year last night and remembered something which seems to have been convenietly laid to rest amid the controversy of the Rangers game next week.

Last day of the season and, with there being absolutely nothing to gain from it other than to see us lose, hearts allow aberdeen to win against them for the first time in god knows how long!!!

So any jambos looking to moan about what could happen or what does happen a week tomorrow, think back to that day before you start.

Ps. a quick reminder that it didnt work and we still qualified for europe as if you need it!!!

Although I would like to say that it will be a sad day for me to see Hibs lie down to any team and I wish it wouldnt come to this!!!!

TBH i cant see mowbray letting our team lie down to any opponent. I feel we will go all out for the win. if the Huns cant get 2nd without the aid of others then thats their problem. I think mowbray would rather go through the intertoto route rather than lieing down to the Huns and going through automatically.

Remember Mowbray was Celtic Captain for years. Do you really think he will lay down to biggest rivals, Hibs v Hearts is nouthing compaired to this for him personally.

i think Hibs should lie down to the huns(that hurt) as it would really piss off the Jambos. They did it on the last day of the season against Aberdeen but it didnt stop us getting into Eurroope. Also, they can't say we're doing this just to piss off the Yams asif the Huns come 2nd, we get Europe

So Chrissyraff Mowbray is more bothered about the Glasgow rivalry than Edinburgh? Get a grip. IF he was that bothered about Sellick don't you think we'd have gone hell for leather last 15 minutes against Huns on last day? Also, Sellick shafted him just after his wife died and I don't think he'll forget that.

Mowbray is a professional football manager and is not remotely interested in club rivalry. He cares not a jot for Celtic or 'Scotland's shame' and is concerned absolutely and completely with what is best for Hibs.

Like all football managers though he will lie through his teeth when it suits him such as Killen,Broon and Stewart might make the semi final and last year before the Rangers game he was meant to be ,unconcerned about the events at Pittoddrie,.... well until Aberdeen went 2-0 up then he correctly told the Hibs players to have a wee kick around the back 4.

He is going to have an interesting decision to make next week though it all depends on this weekend's results however this time round I can't see Hibs getting away with it as unlike last year there are to many iff's but's and maybe's to consider.

It will be our last home fixture of the season. Is it not traditional to give Youth a wee outing at this time?

If we win at Aberdeen on Saturday and Kilmarnock lose then we are Guaranteed the 4th spot are we not?
Whats the point in risking any more injurys to other hibs players. Our squad is streached enough!
Would love too what some of the younger guys we have coming thru are like competing against a Rangers side

All in all. I want Rangers to finish 2nd if we lie down to them, Then so be it. But that also means we want hearts to win the Cup. That i cant do. Id rather Gretna won the cup and we take the hard route into the UEFA cup thru the intertoto cup!

if we play a young side against Rangers then so be it...as long as they try to win the game

if we play a full strength team but dont make any attempt to attack or show any desire to win the game then i will simply walk out of the stadium
