The split's got nothing to do with it - and in a fair contest I think the split has made the league so much better. Look at it now - Rangers have no advantage over Hearts with this run in, apart from the fact they need a result against Hearts's biggest rival - you honestly think some SFA jiggery pokery wouldn't have happened previously where Celtic and Rangers get to play the "easy" teams in the run in?! Livi and Dunfermline have to play the same teams so the relegation issue is fairer.

Look at the "strange" betting patterns that come out every year in the last few months in the lower league games in Scotland - there's no split there, so why are these matches meaningless?

I want Hibs to win - there is no way I'd cheer Rangers on. As has been mentioned, the last day of last season was the worst I've ever felt coming away from a match (apart from maybe the no-shows at Hampden). Hibs were a disgrace that day due to the absolute lack of effort shown and no desire what-so-ever to even try and attack them, and I fear we're going to do the same this time - which is basically what Smurf has said from the very start of this post.

Think you meant we could still finish third. Yeah if Killie can beat rangers and we win on Saturday 3rd is still possible. Its a big if but if the hun wins on Sat then I think we will being trying hard on Tuesday to ensure that our neighbours across the city qualify for the champions league. Aye right
