Do you really think we'll win on Saturday? Or, despite what is likely to be a more passionate Hibs performance than the collectively insipid effort three weeks ago, do you think that the maroon machine will grind out another win?

I won't be there. I live in Cardiff and from 11am til 5pm I'll be working in a feckin call centre, with ma moby switched off. However, I don't expect to hear any jubilant messages when I finally get to switch it on.

Have you noticed how often, since they returned to the premier after the halcyon 1977 -83 era, the skates have won 2-1 after coming from behind (oo-er missus!) at ER? The last twice they won here (on 16.3.02 and 3.11.02) that was the scoreline and that was the sequence of the scoring. I can think of at least two other occasions (25.8.84 and 31.3.90).

So, on Saturday, I think we'll see an early Hibs goal, a spawny hertz equaliser near half-time, and then a late and undeserved winner for them.

I sincerely hope that I'm wrong.

I honestly think we will. I always do when its at ER.The players know they badly let us and themselves down.Surely that will spur them on to a glorious victory.Keep the faith and bring the noise.

If truth be told I expected to be back in the Albion by 3.20pm. However, Sunday's performance has given me a little bit more hope.

I unfortunately believe that we'll get another thumping. Hearts can't afford to loose in the race for a Champs League spot.

TBH, all I'm really looking for a a proper bloody derby performance. By this I mean that Mogga shouldn't move Centre backs to right back, and tight backs to right midfield and centre forwards to left midfield. I am looking for EVERY hibs player doing their Job. I am looking for our keeper to be A GOALKEEPER, bloody banks,shilton,goram rolled into one. I want us to take our chances. I want hibs' to Identify Fartley and cancel him out of the match, just like we did when we pumped them earlier in the season, if this frees up Skatchel, then nail him alswell. I'm looking for Benji TO SCORE. 3times they have have hit 4past us. 3 times (imo) we have let them, nay encouraged them. Do your jobs on sat Hibs. PLAY YOUR FOOTBALL ON THE DECK. Us fans' will take care of the rest.
If they do the above we'll win. Just battle for the jerseys boys.

we are capable of beating them, but for that to happen we'll need to be at our best, they'll have to have a bit of an off day and we'll need a boistrous vocal home support, particularly if they score first.
the amount of money the gunts have spent there really is no shame in admitting that they are a better side, in fact us being the underdogs against them for the forseeable when we play each other suits me fine.

our appaling record in this fixture in the last 20 years or so isn't much cause for optimism.

However, it's a derby. we're at home. we know we can play. we know we can win. and helping to scupper their CL hopes would be oh so sweet.

i'm never a happy camper when considering derbies but what gives me some hope is that they have so much more to lose than us.

obviously it's key to our euro hopes, but with them, it's all there for them to throw away.

The Yams recent record at the Leith San Siro is not good. Hibs have as much to play for as them, and perhaps with a point to prove after the semi. Broonaldo could feature, Deeks is available and I fancy wee Shields to leave his mark on a few of th enemy. Literally!!

I always go into a derby game with a sense of optimism,that has taken a real dent though recently.However I still believe we will beat the gunts,we are due a good result against them.They know they cocked it up big time in the semi,now its pay back time,I am going for a 2-1victory for the mighty Edinburgh Hibees

My head says 3-1 Hearts. Hearts players have shown it means more to them and are up for a fight. We aren't and put in fcuk all effort and desire into the Semi which I will never forgive.
